Since our monthly 'mortgage' isn't going toward our 6,000 sq. ft. house in the hills, yet, we have less space which requires more creative solutions. Here's a way to turn a guest bedroom into another hang out/living room. Or ideal for that studio-size apartment that was listed as a 1-bedroom. It's like the convertible car of beds!



Puma City is a three level indoor-outdoor structure, constructed out of 24 steel shipping containers right here in Boston. Now that's 'Reuse' at its finest.

This modern residence in Arizona, designed by Chen Suchart Studio, is attempting to fit in. At least its lower half. What is the top layer doing?! It looks like a portion of Puma City plopped on top of Arizona vernacular. Just not quite there yet. Oh the house is done you say? Oh well, we'll get'em next time!



Designer Burak Kaynak of Cem Has decided a notebook needed to be more catchy, hence the sliced bread concept. What about slivers of bark? Well needless to say, we now have two options for looking good while sketching or taking notes, Moleskin and now this. But is this the best thing since sliced bread?
